Whether you’re gathering for a family reunion, celebrating a graduation, hosting a Tarleton University event, planning a wedding, or marking any special occasion, we’re ready to make it unforgettable. While the ranch sleeps 8 comfortably in beds, we’ve hosted much larger groups — just let us know your vision, and we’ll help bring it to life. There’s plenty of space for air mattresses, tents, or however you’d like to make the ranch your own.

We recently finished an amazing outdoor kitchen with a large grill ( I mean Texas LARGE ) gas oven with 6 burner, fryer, large 3 hole sink with instant hot water, 3 stainless steel working tables and a very large refrigerator. There is seating in place for 100+ Also a large dance floor and stage are now complete as well.
We are in the early stages of building a new bunk room that will sleep 16 people and his and her bathrooms.

We do allow one day events so please request a quote

We rented the VRBO at 3 Shy Ranch to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city with hopes of viewing the total solar eclipse. The property was perfect for our small group to sit outside, BBQ, see the stars and view the eclipse. The property provides amazing sunrises and sunsets and has a collection of animals that add to the rustic charm of the place! A great place to get away!

The house was clean and set up perfectly. It had plenty of room for people at our daughter’s graduation party from Tarleton. Most amazing sunset and view of the stars. Plus the miniature donkeys were adorable. The homeowners were super responsive and helpful!

We rented the location for my son's graduation party from Tarleton. It is in a very rural area, away from the big city which we liked very much. The owners were very easy to communicate with, the place was very clean and accommodating. Upon arrival Mike took us on a tour of the building showing us where everything was and explained the property. On Thursday nights the owner host a training session where some of the locals train their dogs to heard cattle. We spoke with them for over 2 hours, super nice people and very entertaining! We extremely enjoyed our stay!

This beautiful property has many things to do and see. We were able to relax and have fun playing all the games available. At night, the gorgeous stars made it even more tranquil. We loved it and so did the kids. Thank you.

Our getaway was wonderful - we were there for Tarleton Family Weekend and just wish we had more time there! We fed the donkey and horse and saw the cows, goats and chickens! We would love to return when the weather is cooler so we can enjoy the outdoor property even more! Wonderful home and they thought of everything! Will be back!

Great family get-away! We met for granddaughters graduation! We loved the property. We had a great time. It is quiet and beautiful. I would recommend it to anyone that wanted a fun, quiet place for friends or family to gather.

Perfect place for a large group of people who enjoy the outdoors. So many fun games to play for old and young! We watched the NFR all weekend on the Big Screens and played pool non stop. The house is large and spacious and we had fun admiring all the decor! We can't wait to come back!
College Graduation Weekend
This house was amazing. Had so many games and things to do as well as plenty of space to hang out. The AC struggled to keep the house cool but they do have fans in almost every room. It’s hard to control this Texas heat!! Other than that it was a fantastic experience and we will be back!!

Local caterer that is fantastic and I highly recommend and literally right down the road is Fat Mary’s owned by Jon and Jennifer Koonsman 254-967-2158. You need to feed only a few people or a crowd of 1000. Fat Marys can put you together one heck of a meal or meals
